Day 69: This day brings us all to think about supporting a cause....and thinking about others. While roaming around Wilmington on Monday August 23rd, you may need a refreshing drink....Lemonade is always a favorite. From 3 to 5:30pm at 210 Brookshire Lane, 4 children will be operating a lemonade stand to raise money to fight Rett Syndrome. (www.rettsyndrome.org). This is a developmental disorder most often seen in girls. It is caused by a genetic mutation. Let's help these little entrepreneurs in helping them to raise money for the foundation. Perhaps, they will be out there every year, so be sure to include them in your list of things to do in Wilmington. It is for a good cause.
