Day 35 Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre  and Park - live events occur here at Greenfield Lake with the 1000 seating amphitheatre.    Check out the July schedule at http://www.ci.wilmington.nc.us/community_services/recreation/greenfield_amphitheater.aspx....see Shakespeare On the Green, Sam Bush, Sounds of Summer Free Event by wect and  more.   The theatre was recently renovated and worth a visit....While you are there take in the beauty of Greenfield Lake, walk the trail or take a boat ride and check out the skate park.  Greenfield Lake is great for the birdwatchers.  The lake sits within a city park and there are mature cypress trees and other varieties as well.
