Parade of Homes 2007 Features 107 Homes!
The 21 st annual parade of homes in Wilmington, North Carolina area is one of the largest in the southeast, and this years event promises to be better than ever.
The event is so large, and has so many homes to view it will be running for two consecutive weekends...April 28, and the 29th, and the following weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th. This year's Parade of Homes spans a larger geographical region than ever before throughout the four-county area of New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow.
There is something for everyone and in every price range ranging from $130,000 to over 4 million (I can't wait to see that one) The Parade showcases all sorts of designs from condos, suburban lifestyles, to luxury beach homes.
There will be judging, in all 11 categories, with bronze, silver, and gold awards being presented for the best of the best. Most Realtors will have copies of the plan book along with maps and info on how best to enjoy the Parade.
Sandy and I are again going on the Realtors bus tour. We really look forward to this event!! In past years it was known as the Realtor Roundup, however this year the name has been changed to "The Parade of Homes Neighborhoods on Parade Broker Bus Tour" It is a day long tour which includes viewing of some 30-40 of the parade homes, a nice lunch provided by the sponsors, games and prizes throughout the day, and plenty of networking with 100 other Realtors. The day usually winds up at a fabulous home with some adult refreshments, cheeses, and some more networking with some of the builders. We truly are fortunate to be able to live and work in this beautiful area, see all of the newest and best of the builders models, and to enjoy some of the best scenery on the east coast, with someone else doing the driving.
More to come, pictures, our picks, winners and an overall update on this years Parade. Please call us for any info on this years Parade or visit the web site at www.WilmingtonRealEstate4u.com
